We arrived in Ningbo on Wednesday (September 10) afternoon and immediately contacted Yunda Express to arrange delivery of our goods. However, due to the courier's heavy workload that day, the shipment was not delivered immediately. We waited at the booth for some time before receiving the items. To improve efficiency in future setup arrangements, we recommend coordinating with the courier in advance on the first day of the exhibition to ensure early delivery and avoid delays in preparation. Given the numerous tasks on the opening day, proactive logistics planning is essential for the smooth operation of the exhibition.
Foot traffic at the Ningbo International Machine Tool Exhibition was relatively limited, consistent with the previous days. After arriving at the booth in the morning, we completed the final arrangement of the products. Throughout the day, we received visits from several customers, with key interactions as follows:
Multiple customers showed interest in our encoder products. One customer specifically focused on elevator encoders and inquired about the pricing of the IMS6045 handwheel. Another asked whether our sensors are domestically produced and if we supply laser sensors, mentioning that they currently use Omron products.
Some visitors took copies of our encoder catalogs. Since detailed parameter information is available only in English, we offered to provide customized quotations and technical support upon further contact. One customer accepted our business card before leaving, while another inquired about alternative solutions for Heidenhain handwheels.
In the touchscreen display section, a customer showed interest in our translation touchscreens and asked whether we offer all-in-one models. We connected via WeChat to share detailed product information.
A potential customer also called expressing procurement interest, and we followed up by sending product details via WeChat.
In the afternoon, team members took turns for lunch. By the time we returned, most exhibitors had already begun dismantling their booths. After a brief wait, we packed our materials and arranged logistics for shipment.
Despite encountering uncertainties such as logistics delays and weather conditions, we successfully achieved our goals of showcasing products and connecting with customers. Next steps will include following up on customer inquiries, refining logistics plans, and improving exhibition efficiency.
